What is your birthday special this year?

I did never celebrate my birthday on a grand scale and never treated it something special. I always prefer and try to celebrate it in a simple way. However, I feel very happy while watching the hullabaloo of my fans on the occasion.

How do you feel when your film Tulasi celebrating 50 days in 225 centres?

Really. I did not know that Tulasi is being screened at 225 centres. Beyond me, it is my fans who feel very happy about this, because it is the fans who were concerned about the records. Moreover, a good film running successfully is not a very big thing. This is what I personally feel.

What are your forthcoming projects?

Several writers, directors are coming and narrating different subjects. Some of them were appearing okay, but I am yet to finalise anything. Let me mention one thing. Recently 'Happy Days' was released and became one of the big hits this year and is running successfully. It is really a great movie. There is neither a big story, nor a big casting, but Sekhar Kammula moulded it on the screen based on treatment. There will be one film in his direction. He is preparing a story to suit my body language and it is being given final touches. Presently script work is in progress.

Your recent hits like 'Lakshmi and Tulasi' have an action backdrop. But Sekhar Kammula's films generally run with soft subjects? How you are going to manage?

Soft movies… I too did several soft movies, isn't it? Several directors are coming up with action based films, but I am not interested in them presently. That is why I am planning to choose a soft subject for my forthcoming project.

There is a talk in the State that Mega Star Chiranjeevi is launching a party, What is your opinion on it?

He could definitely launch a party. Entry into politics is always welcome for veteran artistes. Chiranjeevi never think about him personally, but always think about others. I felt very happy when I came to know that such a gentleman is planning to enter into politics. If he really enters politics, even a common man too would be very happy. I know about him. He had a clean record of doing yeoman service to the society through blood banks and eye banks. He had also created awareness among the fans and the common public about the need to donate blood and eyes. He had not only created big records in the film industry but he would create record in politics as well.
